Everything old is new again!!! Or so it seems when you live here long enough. ……… and so begins our 12th year of Silent Auctions at the Beaver Island Rural Health Center benefiting the Wellness Garden campus. The continuous effort of our all- volunteer gardeners has our campus shaping up into a lovely setting. Still some major items to buy so we could use your support in this matter. Look over our list and then make a bid!!

#1 RING OF FIRE — Original Bruce Struik “Imagineering” art piece made of Beaver Island driftwood. He spent many hours cleaning, drying, and buffing this before bringing it back to life. Also included is framed photo of it on the beach burning. There will be a reserve on this original art piece. Portion of money will be used for his memorial rock garden. Beginning bid $250 Ends 7/15
#2 THE EAGLES HAVE LANDED — Carved wooden eagles (previously used) donated by California resident Joyce Logan. These were nested out on Gull Harbor and now need new home/homes. The highest bidder on any one of these has first rights to buy all three at that price each. Beginning bid $50 ends 7/15
#3 SCENE ON HARBOR BEACH — Beautiful reproduction of Jenkins oil painting of “Boy on the Beach” donated by The Quiet Moose in Petoskey. The frame is fitting to most cottages or homes on B I. Beginning bid $75 ends 7/9

#9 OLD LEAVES, NEW MULCH! — Charlevoix Ace Hardware has given a shredder for leaves and small twigs so you can rid your yard of fall droppings and use them as mulch or compost. Beginning bid $75 ends 7/15
#11 BIRDS AT PEACE— Dianne Wojan Scripps has donated three pieces of canvas-wrapped photographs of peaceful bird scenes. Buy one or all three to make a collage. Highest bidder decides on which one, two or all three he /she wants. Bid is for each piece.

These items will be ready for bidding beginning June 15th, many with an “or BUY NOW!” feature so come into the Lobby, go to beaverislandnewsonthenet.com and view the video, or check out our website biruralhealth.org (click on Wellness Garden for photos) then get your bids in. Each item will have different end dates so there are many chances to win throughout the summer weeks. Auction will wrap-up on August 15th. Shipping is not included in transaction.
